It's over
A month ago, I met a man, who I thought I would spend the rest of my life with. But today, it proved that I was wrong.
Tim and I broke up, I feel like I am back to where I was a year ago, emotionally. Maybe I just deserve to be alone. I had my chance at true love, when Paul and I were together and it was just too good to last, I just don't see it happening again.
After losing Tim today, it makes me even more scared at love.
I admit that the big reason for the break up was my fault. Because of the way I acted and treated Tim this past weekend. I was not myself, I was someone, who I never wanted to be.

I hope that you will find love again. We don;t act the same way now that we are widowed and I\'m not exactly sure why. But I wish only the beat for you in the days to come. And if Tim loves you, you should give it up and tell him you\'re sorry. Hugs, Kip.
Karen,
I am sorry you experienced this loss. I hope God will provide either another life partner for you to love, or fill the void with a meaningful and joyful activity. At this stage of life for me, another love seems unlikely, so I hope for a meaningful endeavor of some kind that will provide me with a pleasant diversion. Be gentle with yourself Karen, don\'t put too much guilt or stress on yourself. Godbless and be well,
Eddie
Karen,
I\'m sorry that things didn\'t work out with you and this new person. If you want this to work, is there a reconciliation possible? If not, consider this as a growing period for you. We are not the same people we were before our loss. There is much to learn as we forge a new life. Perhaps it was not the right time, perhaps it was not the right person. Don\'t beat yourself up about this. Your journey is still young and so are you.
Blessings,
Linda
Karen,
I am so sorry you are going through another emotional loss. I also have no idea if God has another person in my future.... or will He will my life with a fulfilling ministry to serve Him.
I pray you will find joy again.... things in our lives will never be the same. But, I do wish you joy and peace.
Hugs, Linda
Dear Karen, I\'m so sorry you are going through this. It\'s difficult when we have hopes and dreams and they crumble in our hands.
So many situations seem to sweep us off our feet emotionally post grief. Perhaps that is because we have lived through the depths of almost unendurable pain and loss. We are more easily frightened, skittish, uncertain .......
My advice is to take a step back and regroup. Like some of the above posts said, post grief we don\'t act the same and we are not the same people we were while married to our previous spouses. Grief forever alters us and changes us inside.
Perhaps things will still work out with Tim. But irregardless of whether or not they do, you will learn more about yourself through this experience. Don\'t let it derail your progress.
Hugs to you and keep your friends posted.
Tami
Karen....I am sorry that the relationship did not turn out the way you hoped. None of us know what lies ahead so we just have to believe that things will be better as time moves on. Hang in there and give yourself time to heal. Thinking of you...Hugs, Nancy
Karen,
I\'m sorry to learn that your relationship with Tim has ended. I know you were hoping to have a loving and fulfilling future with him. It\'s a kick in the gut, and it sounds like you\'re reeling from the hurt. I hope that the coming days will bring you some peace. Blessings. TJ
Karen,
So sorry that things didn\'t work out for you and Tim. Of course, if it is meant to be, you will get another chance with him. Take care of yourself.
Hugs, Joely
Hi Karen; I lost my husband 4 years ago this coming Jan. 23. We do change...I think it is because of the trauma of what we have been through. It\'s a lot to handle! One day at a time, and I agree; if you two are meant to be you will get another chance. My name is Sue.
Thank you to everyone for their kind words of encourgement, it truly means alot to me. I have moved on, I believe Tim and I were not meant to be.
I was so sorry to read this! I think all we can do is take each day as it comes and make the best of it. It is hard to be okay when we do not feel that way. Hugs!!!
I\'m sorry to hear things did not work out with Tim. Take one day at a time & take care of yourself. Peace be with you.
