It's back
Okay, so it never really went away, but I was dealing with the eye symptoms. I was enjoying swimming, shopping, being human. I felt it descend at Walmart while shopping.
I started my day with a bang at 5:00 and was off to the pool by 6:30, Chiropractor at 8:00, and then to Walmart before going home. I was anticipating a nap when my prescription at Walmart was not there. My daughter phoned at that moment and she said, "dont worry, I'll pick it up." I'm still not understanding that things are crumbling but I am relieved to go home. Slept for a few hours and then proceeded to sleep/rest/stare into space for rest of day. By this time throat was tight and chest muscles were starting to get sore. I changed my menu and made a quick stir fry and watched TV with husband in evening. When I went to bed, I had the familiar "If I fall asleep, my breathing will be better."
I've forgotten what a zombie I become. How hard it is to understand A+B=C. Breathing is better this morning, but I know things are not right yet.
Decided not to cancel my little day trip with daughter and baby. It will be good to just sit in car and ride and may actually keep me from being "too active." Yes, I remember there is a fine line when I'm like this.
I had it in the back of my mind that I truly just had occular MG and the rest that occurred earlier this summer was just a fluke thing, possibly caused by something else. Funny how I can deceive myself.
Off to start my day in a fog...

I\'m sorry Debbie. Welcome to the Cleopatra club. We are all Queens of Denial.

Debbie, I belong to the club, too. At least I don\'t have neck and breathing and swallowing problems. . .except air hunger at night, SOB I\'d never had before, leaning my head on my hands almost constantly at the computer when not typing, coughing after dinner, spilling my tea and water down my front. . . Strange, all these things stopped when I got my Mestinon dose up. b.
Oh, I still try to convince myself I don\'t have MG, but my body isn\'t convinced and lets me know. Why do we do that to ourselves? Like the old saying says: Live & Learn.
Cathy
I think it\'s contagious.

Watch out for that \'\'fine line\'\'.
(The \'\'line\'\' can move!)
Too funny. I\'[ll have to tell my GP about the Cleopatra club. She sat and held my hand a while and listened to me. She is still petrified of the disease and cannot wait til I see the specialist. She\'s loading me with mega steroids and tapering down. She warned me I may not sleep for a few nights, but I think she underestimated the power of the disease. Not sleeping is not a problem. Staying asleep can be, but I do go back to sleep again. LOL. And I think that you Ross, do not have to be in the auxillary. You can be one of the kings of denial. Pick one... Tut, Ramses...
