It's all about my choices...

Well... I should have known it wouldnt last long (oh, pessimistic attitude that I have).  The urges have hit.  But I'm not going down without a fight!!!  Today, I will make the right choice and choose not to gamble. I was talking to a friend today who joined Weight Watchers a couple of weeks ago.  I asked her if I needed to go or if she could just sum up the program for me and I would do it on my own (yep, me, always trying to take the shortest, quickest path possible).  She said "It's really pretty simple.  It's all about the choices we make."  I started thinking about that.... It's not just about making the right choice when I choose not to gamble --- this applies to all areas of my life.  The outcome of my life will depend upon the choices I make  --- what I choose to think, say and do.  Hmmm.... sounds like I have some work to do.

So glad you got thru the urge. Well years and years ago my dtr went to WW and I wanted to lose wt so she brought home the book and told me what to do and I lost 30 lbs. Two yrs ago she went to WW again and taught me the pt system and so forth and I lost 20 lbs. I went down south and taught my dtr and gr dtr and they lost a lot of wt and it is an excellent program. However, I just can\'t get into it anymore. I have gone up and down my whole life and I am tired of it. I feel food is the only pleasure I have left. hugs barb

So true and well done fighting the urge! We all have choices and at the end of the day not making a decision is a decision in itself!

Hey SheliaMac - wondering how you\'re doing, girl? It\'s been two days since your journal - hope you\'re a-okay. WW is a great program - I have lost on it, though not into it right now. It DOES work if you work the program. _ sounds familiar, huh?
Hope you\'re well,
Hugs,
