I still haven't recovered from my exposure to vegans during the 2006 Katrina cleanup. "It's a disaster area, moron. The nearest open health food store is 200 miles away. The kitchen is being supplied through contributions and run by volunteers. We're lucky to be eating at all!!!" Vegans sure get preachy mean when their "needs" are not met up to Church guidelines. I am grateful none of them brought naturally carnivorous pets.
That's been 12 years now. . . This would be the first time I've braved a food discussion with a vegan since then.

I am not vegan - but I do rarely eat animal products.
