It's a good day.
I have to say that I am starting to feel better about each day. The rolling with the punches thang, is working (I am getting 'good' at it.) I go to work and work hard, and I really believe this, in part, is one of the influencers in my recovery. It gives me a reason, a purpose and a challenge. I reflect a lot while I work and yeah I get little moods and stuff. But I feel great when the day is over and I make plans for my day off, though my plans are usually solo, I don't really mind that. I mean I would like to go out with friends if they were available but I am ok with this (for the moment.) I also am very lucky to have a supportive family. I didn't always know how to see them as supportive - I was very blinded by my illness how as to how to accept or contextualize when people help. I feel so lucky to have abandoned that part of my past. I think being clear about relationships is also very much an influencer. Just for anyone having a bad day - I really hope they can hold on to some good thoughts. I hope they can put relationship blips into a proportion that doesn't overwhelm them but might serve to keep them going. Taking something positive from them - or just able to be centered enough to let them go. Keeping active in your life and your goals.
Ok enough of my soapbox! Have a good night!
