It looks like video hunts for chemistry from here in
Okay, so I checked my school e-mail and got a response from the science department dean. Without going into wordage, it wasn't helpful (I could see her personally, she tells me, but basically the response was that the tutors they have are the tutors they have so I'm essentially out of luck). So it looks like I'm going on video hunts. To everybody who has even so much as suggested or encouraged this as a possibility, I owe you a LOT of thank yous and huggles.
I'm willing to do this because YouTube, so far, is filling in the blanks good enough. (@ScaredandScarred: Got your message, probably going to call up what's there tomorrow night. Just have two exams to ready for this week and I can't totally ignore the other one.)
Now, I'm okay with this since nothing else seems to be working out. But I realize that maybe some of you may be able to find explanations or videos outside of YouTube (the only source I know), and since I want to give everyone a chance if they want to help, here's what will happen going forward.
I will be going on video hunts too, so when I figure out I need to go on one, between now and the end of the semester you will see a journal title like this:
I'm looking for videos on...
...and I'll either name the concept I'm looking for help on in the subject or immediately in the journal itself. There probably won't be one of these this week because most of the chapter 2 material seemed to click okay and I already have a link waiting for me on something that was fuzzy. But that will be your cue to hunt for videos or other links, if you decide you want to try to help. Since I'll also be hunting for this stuff, it won't be held against you if you don't help or can't find anything useful.
I realize that perhaps this is not the best strategy out there, but it's the only one that seems to be working and I have driven myself crazy trying to find tutoring otherwise, so this is what I'm going with and that decision is final. If I stay on top of it, I'll be okay....or at least I hope so.

I guess maybe I could have labeled this a call for help entry, but it didn\'t seem necessary and to me would make this more overblown than it is. I found a way that\'s working, I\'m going to stick with it even though it is not what I would have preferred, and that\'s pretty much the gist of it.
I still have this female-only quirk to deal with (sigh), but maybe that\'s something we can talk about between video hunts in journal entries and otherwise.
out of curiousity what kinda chemistry is this? I ask because if it is things like general chemistry, i remember some (granted it has been a VERY long time since i took it) so some i might be able to give you pointers on myself. If it is something like Biochemistry, i am at a loss :P
