Is there light?

This morning I went to brunch with Neida Franco. It was a lot of fun. We went to Snooze and waited quite sometime to get a table. I planned to listen more than talk and practice listening skills. Though, I spoke with her about some things that were bothering me like my dad's second marriage and my situation with Rachael and Katie and a problem that might be beginning with Jacqui, since she is not responding to text messages and, well, maybe she is just busy and I am over reacting. I'm at mom's now. She is making Sunday night dinner and the Golden Globes are on this evening so it will be dinner and champaign. Uncle Mike will be coming over as well. I packed a bag just incase I stay here, which I already know I will be.

Monday is MLK, Jr. day so I don't start the new semester until Tuesday. Tuesday I will not have my first lab class because we will need to attend the first lecture. Though, there are other classes I need to attend on Tuesday. The beginning of the day I will be going to see Dr. Park and hopefully be reducing some of the xanax and maybe proposing the beginning of the reduction of lamictal. I would also like to reduce seroquel. But, I believe that we are going to try to tackle the xanax before we hit anything else. This is because it is risky to go down on xanax too fast. It also can be risky reducing the lamictal levels, so that will be a stretched process as well.

I need to begin to think about my debt before I begin to make movements into graduate school. I know that my father may be able to give me a loan to get my masters or even a PhD. I've ruled out the PsyD, because it is just more education and not a research education. When I talked to Jonne at the career center she told me the differences between the two. She had said that she would take the PsyD to avoid the research element of the study. However, I believe in the research method of education and defending a thesis and dissertation. This is all so exciting to think about. I need to keep this momentum while I go through this next busy semester.

It's the middle of the month and my funds are practically depleted. I don't know where I spend all of this money. Though, I never requested a great deal this month, there were only so many doctor appointments that I had this month and my allowance went fast. Next month I'll make a request for more. I pray that I do well this nest semester. I could really use a lift for both myself and for my GPA. Please wish me luck. I am going to do well for Bacia, because I know she'd be proud.

It feels good to journal. I need to do this more, especially since I am no longer seeing a psychologist, only a psychiatrist... who now wants to see me weekly, but never has the time to see me on a weekly basis.
