Is it possible our ex's our really lonely?
I am sitting at home on a Saturday with nothing going on. I do want to reach out and verbally talk to someone about how I'm feeling. But sometimes I just can't call my friends and family constantly who have been supportive of me. I can't keep bringing them down on my feelings. I do wonder if my soon to be ex-wife really feels lonely as I am. I'm not saying that I'm concerned about her, just wondering if her life feels better now. Or is she still miserable? I hate to think she is living a happier life after what she did.

often their look back and reflection comes down the road, just as you've moved passed them
stay strong!
I too am just laying around on my Saturday feeling lonely and I too have wondered if he was lonely. I think it's probably because he's told me he is, but he's just waiting for his "other half" (the girl that gave him the reason to leave me) to leave her bf for him. I finally had to realize that he doesn't love me anymore. And that I can't change that. And why would I want to miss or be with someone who doesn't love me? So I'm trying to stay positive. That's really all you can do right?
I can tell you this..she probably feels lonely too when she's alone. It's only normal after spending almost all your time with someone. But that's not reason enough to be with someone.
it and of itself is the challenge to overcome; to think less of what they're doing and concentrate on making ourselves happy
no doubt there are moments of loneliness, mourning the relationship and possibly occasional regret, but all too often they planned their exit for some time (unbenounced to us) and now they're sticking to their guns and grabbing hold of the early on excitement of freedom
as linny states, why would we want to be with someone who no longer loves us
some psychologists suggests we are all masochists and we subconsciously seek self defeating attitudes, which is why we allow ourselves to think sad or regretful thoughts. its a cycle which has to be consciously broken
