Okay....so I'm SUPER excited about Irene! I know it's fucked up but I love this kind of shit! It's completely dark outside and the wind is kicking up already. She is moving faster than anyone predicted. Yay!
We are supposed to get up to 45mph winds with gusts up to 60mph. Not as exciting as the Atlantic Coast in North Carolina, but still pretty cool. We have severe flood warnings, wind warnings, and are under a tropical storm warning. They expect us to have a lot of power outages around here. Pretty typical for our area when storms come through.
I am actually just worried about our boathouse :(
