interesting

I have often wondered, and wondered more so the past few days that

I have a hard time envisioning my future plans much farther than

a little bit at a time. I know we all have to be flexible to 'take on'

whatever comes our way each day but also I am seeing it as part of something else.

My sense of self, my mood is extremely labile - I can't predict how I'll feel

about things one day to the next...Maybe this function of planning ahead has

to do with - and is part of the relationship of predicting and imagining what

my day, week, month and future will be or what I'll want it to be.

Maybe in understanding this, I'll now be able to surmount this, if a little bit.

If you want to hear God laugh, tell her your plans. ~Multi-cultural axiom

I happen to think I am great at planning. I have all the proper logistical talents for the job.
Alas, appreciating the spirit of God's laughter is still a work in progress.

Life is what happens when we are busy making plans. ~John Lennon (Beautiful Boy)

my life currently is 'plans' ideas...many! A plan to me means an apt with a dr or something like that...otherwise I fly by the seat of my pants and Sometimes Have Very Hard Landings....Prayers are to me Communication...Not about what I want/need...only for my Highest Good....God steers my ship....I just try to shift my sails in the right direction.

Hi Marky, your journals have been missed. Hope you are doing well. Happy Saturday.

My life has felt like I’ve been constantly walking through a construction site and I had to learn quickly how to jump when a giant beam is being transported by a construction crane and then sometimes I have to jump on a moving bulldozer then hop to another beam being lifted to the 55th floor of a new skyscraper and balance and not fall off. Hahahah. So planning has been me trying to figure out where to step next for my own safety as everyone around me builds concrete structure. How does that metaphor work? Luckily I’ve gotten halfway decent at it.

I hope you’ve had a good week and are enjoying your Saturday!

thanks Nikki! I just wrote a journal entry. Things have been good here for the most part, trying to keep
flexible and active in adjusting much like you talk about in your metaphor! peace
