Interdependence

There’s something about knowing I have this problem and living with it and being a part of my family and having friends. I'm starting to not only see my troubles but also see myself with or amongst the group. My troubles used to eclipse everything. I would either be there for the group or be super imposing with my issues. It's different now and I'm super glad.

Therapeutically I'm also realizing that after being in the company of an intensely group oriented thing or strong 'other', I'm seeing the cognitive need to shift my perspective between the two.

You kind of have to reclaim your life. Reclaim from when you are so focused on those relationships and then to the relationship with your personal life.
What I'm realizing it doesn't have to be a strong 'either or' thing. Interdependence may be a healthy framework for thinking about things. Not sure, I need to talk to my therapist about it. The good thing is, I don't feel alone while needing to be responsible for my own stuff.
