Inner peace

Dear Lord,
Today I am lost in the darkness.  I know you have not abandon me for it is I that has wandered from you.  I try to listen for your voice in the darkness to guide me to where you are but I cannot seem to hear over the tears falling.  I try to find you with my heart but the pain masks the love.  I cannot find the place where I am whole, where I am happy, where I dwell in the light.  Please G give me the strength to get through this darkness once more.  Let me not linger here and become more lost.  Mercy on me Lord, Mercy on me.
