In the hospital
I'm laying in the hospital bed....induction has started. They put in the med to soften cervix 2 hrs ago and will check cervix in 2 more hours. The contractions have started on their own and are a couple of minutes apart right now. DH is sleeping away... I'm in pain :-/. But I'm thankful that labor is starting without pitocin... Hopefully when they check again I'll be dialated!

Wonderful!! See if you can get up and squat. They usually say you\'re confined to bed but it should be possible to get up and squat without disturbing the IV. You may disturb fetal monitor a little but you can learn how to adjust it back.
