Im moving and trying to live a new life- Tony
As my recovery continues, I am trying to move out and find a place of my own... I have been living with Tony since I was 17 years old. I am 22 now and ready to leave the nest. The relationship me and Tony have is SOOOOOOO unhealthy for both of us and the reason I havent left yet is because I fear Im going to lose the best friend I ever had. Also, because my life is so inconsistant and I fear Im going to fail on my own if I dont have someone who can go half with me on the rent. I happen to lose my jobs alot because its something that I dont love to do. You know how that goes.... I havent stayed at my house with Tony for like a little over a week. We talk occasionally but I make sure its not often and not so long. I am trying to find my own place (3rd time doing this) and it is is the motion. First time I moved out it was with a gay roommate. He fell in love with a guy in San Diego so he moved, leaving me to go back to Tonys apartment. Second time I moved it was great!! Then I lost my job because they couldnt afford to pay me my yearly salary. I lost my place of residence and went back to Tonys house. Now this is my third attempt and I want to make sure it is my FINAL attempt. I still dont have a job and I have been getting paid from unemployment. Alot of renters need you to have a steady job but the way things are here in California, the state is DEAD BROKE! My hopes are high nontheless looking for a job everyday and looking for a place to move into. Even though Joseph offered me his place to stay I decided not to take the offer. I feel our relationship is too fresh and new and I can see his place has enough stuff in it. I dont want him to rearrange anything for me. I thanked him and declined his offer. I feel when I am further along my recovery, maybe we can work on fusing ourselves together. For now, I am facing this alone....
