I'm a kid this morning

I'm going down to chapel soon, to set it up and then have a late

service today starting at 745am.

We'll have liturgy (communion) which means I can't eat or drink

before the service and I really want to just eat breakfast

and get on with the day. lol

in one of my playful moments with monsignor, i splashed him with holy water when he told one of my fellow parishioners to excuse my second childhood behavior. as i splashed, i teased, "you know this is my first childhood, monsignor."

stay playful, my fellow questioner. don't accuse me of experting, but i think there are even biblical verses saying ya oughtta.

for what it's worth
the monsignor seemed to appreciate the humor, but he didn't bother to translate it for the cradle catholics gasping at the sacrilege.

I feel that way when I have to go get my thyroid bloodwork done. Hehe

Your ritual is worth it, no?

Haha. Muse = lousiest salary in all the world.

Sorry Markus- that was humor. Doesn’t translate well among your thoughtful musing streams-of-consciousness in your journals!

(But it’s true! Could you imagine what that must feel like to inspire others while everyone else makes money if you’re any good at your muse job?). Deep modern hobo thoughts today, in a world of IP and AI and plagiarism and so forth.

I hope you have a good weekend whatever you find yourself doing. I’m about to brave the weather and run some errands.

As Chili Davis once said, "Growing old is mandatory. Growing up is optional." : ) Enjoy your day!

my own muse work doesn't pay the dow jones big league, but those wet sloppy kisses rock my musing boat.

i had to look up chili davis. i didn't look to hard, but his sport stats were all i could find outside his birth stats. no clues what he has done since his retirement in 1999 at age 39. popular bio claims he is still worth $1.5 mil, so i am guessing he has done at least some growing up since he retired. just guessing. . . not even rich jocks interest me enough to check sources more reliable than popular bio. i don't find them too a-musing. to each their own a-muse-ment.

now to get my IP (inner punster) back in her cage. . . she's a slippery muse.

i am home from work. i can't focus on reading right now. I don't know if it's because of my condition - but sometimes I can't absorb
the words written on a page and right now the only response that was clear reading for me was Judy's.
I'll revisit tomorrow. Have a good night ladies!
