Iffy

Today was an iffy kind of day. Good church service. I always feel the spirit in me in church.
Then benefit spaghetti dinner after with by friend Marla. She lifts me up. She listens and helps me keep grounded. We hang when her hubby is working. I kept saying I just want a life. I know I have my sons, step daughters, their kids, my future grandchild, my health. But can you understand how one can have all this and still feel low? Not worthless. Just low. Hoping one of the jobs I applied for comes thru soon.
I need meaning again. I am proud of myself for standing my ground (even though nothing for month now from atty) and offering my own proposal. It would be nice if the courts would look back on the orders he's ignored and somehow make him listen. Fat chance of him listening. I made a funny there. Lol. He goes by his own rules.

I hear that! I think that is why I have dragged my feet at actually filing. I\'ve seen too many of my friends have deadbeats who manipulate the system and don\'t comply to court orders. My one friend had a horrible experience. She had custody, but the ex ended up taking them and not letting her have them back! She went round and round in court and the lawyers dragged it out so long she ran out of money. So since she couldn\'t continue to \"prosecute\" him, the case was dropped. It makes me sick how this is such a game (job) to the lawyers and judges. This is our LIFE here and they are getting rich off of it. Could you imagine if a doctor was in the middle of surgery and found out that the insurance wasn\'t going ot pay and then just walked away from he patient???!!!
