If what you\'re doing doesn\'t work...
...then do something else. Yesterday, while talking to my therapist, I decided that my old routines weren't working. Obviously not working. I was going to work late, and my brain was mush when I got there. So, I outlined a new plan. This morning, I implemented it. I woke up half-an-hour earlier and went to the gym. The temptation this morning just to sit down at my computer or to lay back down on the couch was almost overwhelming, but I resisted. I am very glad I did. I went to the gym and had about a 25 minute fat-burning workout on the treadmill. It was, compared to the workouts that I used to do, wussy in the extreme. Nevertheless, right now my brain feels sharper and I have energy. It was well worth it. It is clear that I'm going to probably have to wake up earlier yet if I'm going to make this work on a consistent basis. My plan is to go the morning of every work day. I will lose weight, which is great. But more importantly, with luck, my head will clear up and I'll be able to tackle the day easier. This is day one. Wish me luck.

good luck!! admire u for doing this!!
excellent plan! you undoubtedly will feel clearer and happier doing this. it\'s nature\'s happy pill :)
My doctor said that physical activity positively affects the brain\'s ability to focus and has been proven in studies. I made the decision to exercise starting today too. Maybe if we encourage one another we will succeed. I haven\'t even started my day one yet though. Good luck to you my friend. It is a choice to be healthy and functional.
good luck! i\'ve got the same problem...but no willpower to actually change my routine. good on you for not giving in :)
Good for you. wish I could get motivated myself. Mishka. Love you.
Sounds like an excellent plan! I must overcome my excuses, and do the same.
