If Only It Weren't So
Struggling a bit... As you know all too well the struggle is forever... I find myself amazed at how all the memories of life flood my mind and I'm still stunned that Cara is dead... How can it be... such a stupid question but my mind seems to have to reabsorb the fact... I started to write about it a few days ago... but I didn't... Tonight I'm on the edge of weepiness... Sometimes I'm able to be a bit more cheerful than others. God has been kind to us... Like everyone we have things happening in our lives... sometimes good sometimes not... Nothing thankfully yet that is deeply dreadful... Today I'm just trying to hang on till it passes...

Yes it is a constant struggle and there are times when the battle seems so much harder to fight. There are times that I would be so thankful if my brain would just shut down for awhile! I\'m sorry that you are having a rough time. Ive often related this grief to a spoiled rotten two year old. If you don\'t give it the attention it wants it will throw a tantrum and force you to give it the attention it demands. So take a little time with it and have a good cry as they say the the tear ducts are the release valves for the heart, release some of the built up pressure and then you can get on with this journey with all of it\'s ups and downs. Sending you a gentle hug and healing thoughts....Kathy
I still cry almost daily; just a few tears here and there. I have a good life but it is just not as good as it was before Lisa left. I also yell and scream - when I am alone. I live in a condo so I suspect there are people wondering who is being murdered in our suite! I do try to keep it together when Joe is around as he wants to fix it.
Do what you need to do - one step after another, one breath at a time.
Love and tight hugs,
Marlene
so understand... so with you... love ya!
Dearest Elissa, I\'m thinking of you, my friend. It is interesting that I don\'t miss my late husband at all, but I never stop thinking about Colleen, and missing her! Your sweet Cala is never far from you, her loving mom!!
Gentle hugs, Elissa! xxx
I go \'there\' often also. I try hard to focus on the good in my life, but we have lost part of our lives, part of our souls, a part of our hearts. Life can never be the same, it can never be whole again.
Understanding....
Sometimes hanging on till it passes is all we can do. And what great energy that takes!
Totally understanding, almost like waiting for the next shoe to drop.. Praying for all of us BIG TIME!! Love You Elissa!! XOXO Kelly
I get it..it is remains tough forever, doesn\'t it? Hugging you tight...love to you...Karen
Yep, I hear you - how can it be is the never ending question. No answer to it then, now and ever. It\'s always right there just below the surface waiting to bubble up when we least expect it. Hope you are doing okay ~ Joanna x
I find myself returning to Josh and Chris\' childhood times in long ago memories. Sometimes it is hard to come back...
No answers to our question of WHY? At almost 6 years it is still so very hard to comprehend. Big ((HUGS)) Sue xo
I agree No answers to our questions of WHY? I too have to try and not let my husband know about how bad some days are because he also wants to \"fix\" me. At over 9 years and I still can\'t believe my son is Gone!! So unfair...Love and hugs to you My Friend, Nell
