Idea
I think I am realizing that we all have a way of understanding and making sense of the world and when that is challenged there are any number of reactions from that. Seems kind of ominous in a way. But I was thinking about that while preparing for mass this morning.

I think thats why empathy is so very important Markus. Being able to change your vantage point from any other’s shoes of perspective is key.
Big hugs
early into my psychotherapy dropping the obsession with other people and the universal norms was initially frightening for this very reason. accepting the diversity of the human condition and the unpredictable of all those varied reactions terrified me. it took me from the organized angst of paranoia to the sense that i was standing on a mountainside during an avalanche with all these random boulders crashing aimlessly all around me. hypervigilance advised. those mindless boulders are even more dangerous than evil but intelligent villains.
profound things have happened since i took the leap of faith and started keeping it personal while coaching my pronouns in the first person singular. it helps **me** make better sense of the world. sorta. mostly it diminished my busybody insistence that i should be minding my own business and trusting you to take care of yours.
thanks Nikki and thanks Arfie!
