I wonder what this experience is and if it is important.

Sadness comes over me in slow waves. The sky reminds me of February and February reminds me of despair. February is an emotional flashback. I feel deep, deep sadness and hopelessness. Isolation. I am watching a show about the history of LA and I can feel the sun and the pavement and hear the sounds of the traffic just as if I am there.  Emotions follow. I’m not sure what they are just that I don’t want to feel them. I feel like I have accidentally stepped into someone else’s mind for a few seconds. I am that someone walking down the sidewalk at sunset. There is a light breeze that is warm and dry and the setting sun is warming the right side of my face, I pull myself back out because I don’t want those feelings. What if I get lost in L.A while sitting my Rochester, NY living room?

These sound like lovely feelings, the sun, light breeze and warm and I am sorry you are feeling deep sadness and isolation with that.

The other night I was having severe abandonment and loneliness feelings, it was terrible.

I watched a movie last night and it was as if I was there, it was magical and I let my mind get lost into the movie. There aren\'t many that can do that.

When I was a kid I would watch a hawk in the sky and try to put my mind into his/hers and see through it\'s eyes. I got pretty good at it...or at least imagined I was. Lately I slip away like that, even without trying, even when I don\'t want to.
