I wonder if it's too much to ask
I was talking to a friend tonight, and she was talking about her son doing a 'vision notebook'.
I think it might be time for me to start doing that to envision what I want - what goals I want
for my future. I feel healthy enough - if but that I will always have dysfunction at times - but
I think I want to start planning to have tangible goals.

Show me someone who is never dysfunctional and I will show you a liar, even if the string of lies begins with lying to themselves.
thanks arfie. I guess there's something in me that tells me I have to be perfect to even hope for stuff in my life. But I feel like
the more work that I've done - i feel better able to cope with the issues and not go off the deep end when they happen - so I may have issues - but I can also now maybe 'right myself' (like a ship) - God I am hoping that's the case.. I will start to create a vision board.
My husband tells me the greatest gift I ever gave him was the continual assurance that he can be less than perfect and still be a good man.
In my speech defective brain, "Perfect" is a concept which makes no sense, whatsoever, to me. Who gets to define, "Perfect?" I already don't trust anybody who actually *wants* that job. I wouldn't take it for all the love in the cosmos. It would be easier to put names and faces to all the *we's* and "they's" in a political debate.
A trivia bit which somehow helped me in my own struggle with this body of yaddahs is that an airplane's auto pilot is only on course about 5% of its flight. It spends 95% of its time correcting its course and still manages to get where it needs to go.
Yes, my habitual worrier. Like those air ships, you, too, can spend 95% of your time course correcting and still get to where you need to go, warts and all. Enjoy your flight. It's not about being perfect. It's about working ^it^ out. Rise to the challenge.
Thanks
Big hug Marky...… I agree completely with what Arfie wrote...… There's no such thing as perfection in this world sweetie...… Big squishy hug.... I think that a journal/notebook sounds like a great idea.....xo
Thanks Jan!!
