I wish I was enough

Where did I go wrong? Am I not enough? Not do enough? Tonight my sons showed me just how ungreatful they are, at least at times. My middle son ended up pushing his girlfriend after she went after him to talk to him, he was acting like a jerk at the time. He knows I left his dad because of abuse & he says that's the main reason he hates his dad. It wasn't until I told him I had enough, he is to NEVER put his hands on a woman for any reason (or anyone for that matter) & told him I was putting him back in the hospital. My youngest left open his instagram acct (which he knows I don't want him to have) I checked out my oldest sons. Things I thought were confirmed. He's still smoking pot which he's not to do with his meds & he knows how I feel about it & why. He also has soccer jerseys that I spent several hundred on last Christmas on there with stuff he's selling. I just wish I was enough for them but I'm not. Guess I'll have a drink & cry myself to sleep

You\'re not alone with all of this. There are community groups and it sounds like your sons and you could join one. Have you tried something like that? I think anything you can do to plunge them into a healthy reality will be helpful. Can you take away the electronic devices and get the attention of your middle son? It really sounds like you could use some help. Do you have a church or something you can get involved with so they\'ll have more positive forces around them? Just shooting out some ideas. I hope you can get everyone involved in something that will help bring all this interaction into a family focused and healthy environment.

Lorrieonline said it all. I wish you didn\'t take what your sons do as something you are doing wrong.. they are finding their way and you are their guide. remember you can\'t control them and what they do is on them. You are more than enough for them. Try to see.
