I weighed myself today : (

Well I finally got on the scale and couldn't believe I let myself gain sooo much weight, 169 at that. My BMI is considered (OBESITY) I found this site that tracks your intake of food and it counts the calories, it's awsome. I am on a good start of getting healthy and losing weight. I am on a 1200 calorie a day diet, I didn't even get to 1200 by the end of today and  I still had some to spare. I even got to eat a hamburger for dinner. I really noticed by eating breakfast really helps control my binges. I put the numbers 169 for my background on my desktop and I will hopefully change the number to a lower number next Monday. I even put 169 on a index card and cut it to the size of a credit card and slipped it in front of my ATM to help me from buying junk food.  Well I'm getting sleepy, till again L I S A

The scale can be an enemy at time with that number starring at you after it registers. Focusing on making healthy choices is important and using that website will be good for helping you make the best choices but try not to focus on the number so much. Things like your period, salty food, your bathroom schedule, and how much you sweat can all make the scale fluctuate. For me, its all about how my clothes fit. I want to be comfortable in my own skin, a daily challenge for me, but I also need to be comfortable in my clothes-no matter what the scale says. I wish you the best for your healthy and hope you know that you are not defined by a number- your personality, respect for others, and love for yourself are much more important.

I know exactly how you feel. I\'ve allowed myself to gain weight. It\'s depressing. You sound like you are doing good though. That is a nice reminder on your desktop and in front of your atm. I\'ll have to try that!

I have been a size 14 forever and thought I was comfortable at that size in my clothes but I can feel the excess weight creeping up and is getting snugged and tight when I am buttoning my pants. I can\'t afford clothes right now. I will focus on being healthy, I don\'t have health or Dental insurance. I quite smoking two years ago adding some years onto my life and now if I could lose a lttle weight that will help somewhat not ending up at the Dr\'s. I floss my teeth everyday so when I am able to visit the Dentist eventually It won\'t be that bad of a report card. Times are tough and you have to do what you have to do to get by.

Another motivation is that my 10 year Anniversary is in March 2012 and how nice it would be to look good in a spagetti strap black dress. : )
