I told you so...

I told you it was temporary! I noticed too that my feelings in my last post were not form my negative voices, they were an observation, that just came to me. What it helped me do is to not feel obligated to justify my feelings. I don't have to prove I have a right to feel what I feel, I can just feel, unconditionally. Today I am thankful for many things, including experiencing life with all it's ups and downs; and today I am thankful for the progress I've made since last Thanksgiving, in overcoming codependency. I am thankful for all my friends, especially my friends on DS, who are learning along with me, and who accept me even with all the flaws I'm having to overcome in order to be me, or in spite of them. Thanks. And I thank God for the playground God created for us to play in called earth, and life. Happy Thanksgiving to each of you and your families,

You sound in a good place today, all the working through your feelings is working and i\'m so pleased for you!

I remember you writing recently about how you don\'t like yourself and i had a sudden feeling come over me this lunch time whilst i was doing some jobs in town. I saw myself judgihg everyone that i encountered and i thought how little must i like myself if i am so dislking of others. Its not a nice realisation but like you say we must lean into the punch and not repress it all. I know too, very well why i dislike myself and what messages i play back from my childhood to make me feel so bad and it is my job to notice, be aware and change the message. Note to self- must be more vigilant when it comes to catching those negative thought.

I hope you had a lovely thanksgiving and got to enjoy your \'new self\' with family and friends.

Thanks for your freindship too! V :)

I\'m glad you\'re becoming aware. It\'s working for me so far. Now I\'m happy...no wait, now I\'m unhappy...uh, wait! Now I\'m happy again...you know, I could get used to this and not try to fix it, just live with it. ;^)

By the way, today I believe the glass has water in it and the water in it is plenty.

Really? Remember, the way you see the world is really the way you see yourself. Or as my coach and mentor says..
\"It is a reflection of their own internal hell.\"

Now there\'s something to work on. That explains a lot!
