i thought about the missing piece
Initially today I thought about this idea from a different direction.
I was coming at my life and the variations in my life, that Nikki also called
'the eras in your life.' All the different zeitgeists and traditions and spirt
and people that go along with each venture in life that seem to flash in my mind,
never giving me a sense of permanence or ground to set on. Too much
variations??
I left the monastery just now to go and get some ice cream at the mini mart
and as I began to drive there I was looking within me for some assurances for which
that I was trying to move forward, as in could I see a path to go on.
I thought again about my friend who said "Be careful about perfection!"
And I hope I haven't been an insufferable brat about my life.
I thought just then that there seems to always be a 'missing piece' in life.
I got comfortable with that thought and that idea.
I thought to myself "God is the missing piece."
I thought about how I can go through my days and have moments of
dissonance where I can be inspired to be ashamed by a mistake made
but I am learning to let that go by the wayside and let the feeling echo into
the distance. After all it was but a moment.
I know that none of us is perfect and we're all seeking answers...maybe that
missing piece in life that can carry our friendship along the way. :)

Thanks Jan! I know what I need now and I know how to give myself that I know I try validate others too the best I can! Xx
I’m learning to validate myself and realize I can’t get my needs met by everyone I meet. I have been calling dad too much the past two days, not good. But I asked myself. What do I need right now ? and I realized why I need so much. That’s because I have a major mood disorder and my sense of validation I need to learn to give to myself. I also need to go to my support group. I feel healthier and more in control right now than I have in a long time. Because I have a factual sense of self.Even though I have the ebb and flows of big moods. Anyways, things are good.
Big squishy hug... This reads so positive sweetie...xo
thanks janet! <3<3:-)
