I think my sadness may come from Finesteride
I take finesteride (Propecia) for hair loss. I read today it sometimes causes depression and suicidality and impotence.
I didn't know this. The pharmacist who reviewed it with me mentioned only sexual issues. She was really childish and 'didn't feel comfortable talking about it.' Holy crap what a loser she was.

How brave of you to post this. I'm hoping that DS members will come forward as they are prone to do ~ we help one another. I believe that's why so many of us stick with all the frustrating up and DOWNS. Luckily my Pharmacist has been @Walgreens for 35 years. I had a whole team at Walmart Express ~ took 3 buses one way, but definitely worth it. The Corp., as they are prone to do, closed at least 3 of them...not enough money generated for them. I'm guessing, but isn't that usually the 'reason?'
Childish and being uncomfortable? How stupid is that? Why is she a pharmacist...she isn't really now is she? She can't be the only one there, right?! Ask for the Store Manager if your place has one. I had a nasty, bitchy pharmacist at one Walgreens a long time ago. She told me: "SIT!" I told her: "I am not a dog." She told me she'd call the Police! I said: "Go right ahead. Do you want to use my phone?" T\
She was so loud and out of control, the Store Manager came running over and she handled it...never saw that *&$# again.
Good luck. I'm hoping you can get something different. I ask questions of my doctor, his nurse, anyone before I go p/up new scripts, too. It helps to get a freakin' pharmacist to do their jobs. You're being kind by calling her a Loser. You were treated poorly. That's not getting assistance. That's telling you, "don't ask." Geesh! Good thoughts going out to you.
