I think I'm done here
I just signed up with supportgroups.com to see if they were any better than this train-wreck we used to love so much. Today I got a very nice message from them:"Dear Support Groups Community,
"Good Afternoon Dear Members. We had no idea what was under the hood of this site when we endeavored to update our software last week. It obviously was quite the disaster as far as functionality and we quickly learned, there was no going back. We had to find out what was wrong and then slowly build the site back up. We couldn't help but chuckle as this is what life is all about at times, problems occur and sometimes it isn't the easiest thing to deal with or fix. "Our members are amazing, instead of complaining and leaving, you all supported us! We got messages like this: "Please let me know if there's anything I can do to help! Seriously." "Thank you so much for the reply -- just hearing from you, and knowing that you're putting in your greatest efforts to get the site back to normal functioning, is very encouraging and supportive. We are all very devoted to this site as well, as it's a lifeline to many people. We appreciate your efforts...." "We have gotten the site back in order by working through the weekend and we could not be happier, the site still has some issues, but we are working to test the site and identify what still needs to be done. Once we get the site working well, then we will start rolling out some exciting additions and changes. "Thank you again for your support and kindness during this time. We are working hard to make this site worthy of your time and dedication."
Far cry from the F-U blow-off we're getting here, huh? Maybe I'll see you there.
Much Love to All,
Jack

Aw, Jack. I'm going to miss you. I guess I could go over to supportgroups.com, but I'll see if any of my other friends are going over there. I just want my group back. AGH! Well, at least I have your email if I need to get in touch with you. Love you, Jack. Heather.
I'll see about supportgroups.com and report back. Meanwhile, yes, let's keep the emails open!
Love you, Heather. Jack
Any thoughts yet about supportgroups.com Jack? I'm so disappointed about what's happened to DS~ I used to look forward to coming here to connect with friends and others. The problems here have added to my feelings of isolation. I really need to push myself to go out and connect with real life folks not just virtual relationships. I'm waiting for Valley Lift to take me to an open house and there's also a launch party this evening nearby.
How's life going for you and Maryanne in your new home in Kentucky~ meeting any friends there? I know the summer heat might be rough. I need to stay indoors in the air conditioning when it's over 90~ it's supposed to be 103 tomorrow! Valley Lift is here~
