I think I\'m done
I think I've beaten this depression. I'm beginning to think the depression is symptomatic and not endemic. I've been predominately possitive about myself and my outlook for the last month and a half, despite some negative occurances. I've been more pateint with myself over all and allowed for the occasional bad thought. Mostly I've been concerned about being able to hack it in the military. That right now is the concern that occupies my thoughts the most.

Wow, who woulda thought I\'d fall off the wagon so fast! I was doing well until yesterday when I remembered that I\'d missed one of my friends birthday\'s (I always miss hers). I wrote to her and we caught up via several amails over the day. That reminded me of how successful she is and how far she\'s gone and then I started comparing myself to her, then to some other successful friends (oddly enough all of my successful friends are women).
Then I found out that the projects I was told not to worry about anymore were given to the guy who sits next to me. To make matter\'s worse, he is able actually making progress where I couldn\'t. I asked for help and advise on what I could do to advance these projects and management, instead of teaching me, handed them off to someone else. What was I doing wrong?
I feel incompentent.
