I take on
When I think people are insecure around me I tend to think it's because something I've done or am doing.
I tend to take it on and it stays with me for quite a while after the interaction.
2 things. One, I realize that I need to take a deep breath and generalize the situation to find my footing.
Two, I need to remember to choose activities that I like. Affirmation.
Tonight's adventure has been a challenge but I'm keeping hope!

Yes, keep hope!
It’s good to explore and do things that make us uncomfortable, including social interactions. Ruminating afterwards may make one focus on the negative but I bet if you reflect from a different angle there were probably some really cool highlights!
Sending hugs.
my reality check for my compulsive analyzing of my social performance is, "why would a random stranger be thinking of me, at all?"
sending you a fresh supply of hope in case you want to give some of your own hope to one of those random strangers. hope is one of those items which seems to multiply when i give it away. the more hope i give, the more hope i have to keep.
Thanks Nikki! Thanks Arfie!!!
