I survived Zumba
Despite that persistent odd feeling in my chest and throat, my stubborn streak kicked in and though my husband didn't think it was a good idea, I went to my zumba gold class last evening. I wore my heart monitor and I did kick it down a notch when heart rate got over 150 (my cardiologist prolonged QT advice.)
The workout seemed harder than it has ever been. I had sweat dripping off every part of my body. At one point I felt like I was going to pass out. I was zombie-ish after for about an hour but I survived. I even picked up that ugly thick-it. Haven't tried it, but it is in the house.
This morning I am happy to report that arms and legs are still moving, I'm still breathing, and other than looking like popeye, chest pain, and blurry vision I feel good. I can push myself! Vacation might just be okay. I leave tomorrow!!
