I sold the car, monies in the bank and Mon pay off car loan.

I sold the car, monies in the bank and on Monday I can pay off the car loan.  This will be the finish of Smokey's estate.  Once this is complete, I feel I am starting anew without Smokey or his estate in my life anymore.  It is a bit scary but everyone goes thru these changes in their life once they lose their spouse and soul mate.  I don't know what else to say.  Yesterday, I felt a bit sad about the whole thing.  The car is a 2005  Chevrolet Cavalier 2 door coupe in Victory Red with only 50, 162 km on it.  This was Smokey's baby.  I remember the day he bought it on June 14, 2005.  He was excited about it as I think this is the first new car he bought.  He really looked after it and got it serviced on a regular basis.  I was happy yet sad to see it leave.  At least it is with my friend Carol S. and we get together every other week.  I am glad it went to someone I knew.  If Dave had the money, he would have bought it.  Dave was really helpful yesterday.  We got the car topped off with gas.  Its tank was almost full.  It just needed a bit of driving around.  He got the tires filled with air as the front left one was a bit low.  Dave made sure we went thru the car wash.  Dave is a good man.  He did this for me.  I owe him a beeer or two.  I am sure he will make sure I pay up.  I though i would let everyone know.
Today we are going to my Aunt Mary's 80th birthday bash.  Dave will meet my relatives and even:
1.  My younger brother Gerald and his wife Sheri
2.  Lisa, Grant and Tyson will be their as well
We shall see how this goes.  We are leaving in about 20 minutes.  Dave's watching sports on TV and I am on the computer.  For some reason I can't get into my Trivial Pursuit game on pogo.com.  Oh well.  I am sure I will be able to access it at another time.  It said this game was full with the players.  I usually play it in the early morning.  I might even take my computer in to get a new Norton Security on it.  Lisa and Grant suggested the free virus protector which I tried but I am not as happy with it as Norton.  It's another thing on my list of things to do.
I will talk with everyone soon and I hope you have a great Sunday from Diane Baillie

Diane, Glad things seem to be going more \"normal\" in your life and one more door is closed now that the car is gone. Dave sounds like a good man. I went to lunch with a man about two weeks ago and it just wasn\'t there..either I am not ready or the chemisty wasn\'t right...but in time I am sure something will happen without evenig trying...hope today goes well..I have a feeling it will :) Hugs Ellen
