I never really got my oomph back
After seeing those positive twinklings at the beginning of the week, I am back to same old, same old. Energy is awfully low, making Christmas entertaining and even gift giving hard. My husband is a wonderful man.
My life has been getting out of control a bit, so must slow it down. Erma (101 y.o friend) was back in the ER last night, so that exposed us to the flu once again. Going to try and just let the holidays happen. Think I can? Santa did not bring me extra spoons, nor did my IVIG, so I will have to rest.
Hugs to all. Enjoy your loved ones!

Glad you are not feeling well. Now that I have your attention! You don\'t need more spoons yet Debbie, or you would be trying to keep up with your 101 year old friend, go to all the festivities at church, cook, take care of Grayson, clean, etc. Maybe IVIG will kick in tomorrow for a Christmas present, but it is too early for you to be trying to do all you want to do. You need to rest at this stage of the game. You would yell at a football player for trying to play with the flu no matter how good he could be were he well, and he would be causing problems for the whole team. Have a wonderful Christmas, get to feeling lots better, and please rest for the good of the whole team, we love you, Beth
I relate. My wife is making me take a vow of silence today and I have to forego any activities before our Christmas gathering tomorrow
Pick out your favorite things to do for Christmas and use your limited energy on them. Leave the rest to others.
The true spirit of Christmas is loving and giving. Wonder how long before you will get a belated Christmas present? Take care, relax and just let other show their love for you by doing while you watch. You do not need to be in the ER for the holidys.
You know we must give, but we alwo must learn to receive. You have always given so much of yourself, so now It is time for you to be on the receiving side. I pray you will wake up tomorrow feeling better, but rememer to choose what is important at this point.
Love, Cathy
Debbie here\'s hoping the IVIG will kick in....Merry Christmas!
