I miss Smokey's sense of humor and laugh

I miss Smokey's sense of humor and his laugh.  We laughed at the weirdest things together.  We could be watching TV and something strike us funny.  We would look at one another and just laugh or smile.  When Smokey laughed, you could also see it in his eyes with the twinkle in them.  I can hear him speaking to me to find some one else.  I would then tell him you silly old goat don't you know that grief takes time?  Smokey would then say I understand but when you are finished, find some one else Diane as you are took young to be alone.  He was good guy who looked after me.  There are many reasons why I miss Smokey.  He was a genuine caring person who gave from his heart.  Although, when he saw someone being used, Smokey would say something.  He never liked to see people being used by other people.  Smokey was good at speaking out which I did admire about him.  We never celebrated Valentine's Day.  Smokey and I said that if you don't know that you love one another, one day is not going to make a difference in your relationship.  For us, it was enough that we loved one another.  We might have made a special dinner to celebrate the day but that was about it.  Despite what we said to one another, on some Valentine's Days, Smokey would surprise me with a gift.  He didn't expect anything back in return.  He was a man with a huge heart.  Sometimes I would surprise Smokey with a toke gift for Valentine's Day.  We surprised one another and got great pleasure in doing it.  We really appreciated the efforts that the other person did for us.  It was reciprocated.  Many reason to miss my Smokey, these are just a few of them.
