I miss her smell

I did something stupid today.  I had cleared off her dresser I guess a few weeks back and left just her collection of perfume bottles.  Today I sprayed a bit of Dolce & Gabana Light Blue (her fave) on my wrists.
It didn't make me feel as good as I thought.  I keep sniffing my wrists which makes me miss her smell which then makes me miss her touch.  Jesus help me.

That\'s not stupid, its normal. And no it doesn\'t make you feel better, you were just trying to get a piece of her back. Its what we do. To others it might seem like you are causing yourself unnecessary pain but to those of us who have been there we get it. Its part of processing your loss. I say sniff away! This is coming from a woman who shoved her face into his team Honda baseball cap and then ended up in the fetal position sobbing. Its what we do. Hang in there. Lori

I cleaned out my husband\'s medicine cabinet but kept his deodorant. Today I opened the cabinet and got it out to smell it. It\'s the only thing I have left that smells like him. It\'s been 4 months 10 days. I know I will miss him forever! Hang in there. It does get a little easier as time goes by....up and down....but you learn to cope. Take Care. Lori
