I met Gail today!
What a lovely lady. We visited for nearly 2 hours. She is so sweet. She shared her MG history and I learned so much. She also put me at ease about Plex, as I fear my doctor may head that way.
Of course, my phone rang 3 times while we there...Nicole, Bo, Shifra...She ended up telling me I do too much too. I really am trying to slow down.
When I got home the nursing home called. I was with Erma this morning, and she vomited after her breakfast. They blamed it on her potassium pill and Dr happened to be there and was going to switch it. Now she is vomiting her again and they are putting her on fluid precautions. Found out there is a staffing on her that I need to attend tomorrow. That was going to be my complete day of rest.
Shifra is coming home with Wyatt the weekend after my next IVIG. I am glad he is older. I think I will be able to rest with him now that he is 4.
Did I mention that I had to take Grayson to his doctor appointment today? Quite a full day when you add grocery shopping and the hour drive, one-way, to Appleton. My days just evolve into this always. I didn't even run around the city and do fun shopping as I was out of spoons.
Got the bill for the first round of IVIG (4 treatments) 28K! Insurance covered all but 3K of it. I will have to start working more, I think. eBay will be happy.
Always interesting around this house. The kids are coming for supper, so I best get busy. Hugs.
P.S. while I was gone the housekeeping fairy came (Leo) and did several loads of laundry and straightened the kitchen and living room. Love that fairy.

Deb, you need a whole troupe of fairies!
love ya, b.
Deb, as usual I get tired just reading everying you do... please take care of yourself! Annette
I love her!
I remember one evening when I first started prednisone and had a very \"can do\" attitude she got me to sit down and have a glass of wine and stop cleaning out my fridge. She was so right about taking it easy... cause the next day showed me what over-doing things can look like!
We have another thing in common... I got my 28k bill the other day too!
Did it bring up a lot of emotions for you? It sent me swirling (THAT much to feel only THIS good? So grateful I am able to get it! How would I be without it? How long will I need it? Lucky it agrees with me! etc. etc. etc.) My sweet husband put an end to the emotional ride I was on by saying \"I always figured you were a \'High Maintenance Woman\'\"!
I am so happy to hear that you had such a great visit and came home to that fairy blessing! You deserve it! Now sit down and have that glass of wine!
Love, Becca
Is it the cold air, the food? You are amazing! Gotta tell us your secret . You do so much. Hope you find a day for Debbie to just be and rest.
Debbie, you are just too sweet. I had a wonderful time with you. We had some very serious moments, but then again we really laughed too. Everytime
debbie\'s phone rang I stuck my head in my purse because I thought it was mine. ( we have the same phone and ring tone) Can\'t wait to see you again Deb. Now read my lips \"SLOW DOWN\".
Love ya,
Gail
Becca! I did have the emotional response. I even told Gail that I wondered if I was getting depressed. Sticker shock has a whole new meaning for MGers.
I was able to discuss it with Sherry during a wonderful phone conversation we had last week. She is very good at assuring me that it is my emotions are \"Normal\" when I am not feeling so. So much growth in so many ways... that is a good thing in the end! If you catch me at the right time you get an ear full that is for sure! Love Ya!
Love, Becca
