I'm tired.

I feel so horrible that I've to take care of everything, and my husband is so lazy and delays everything. When I do things, he says not to do cos he will take care of it, but he never does it and just delays everything. We are newly married and he is still in bachelor mode. I donno when is he going to take care of things and run the family.

that\'s a real toughie! But you guys are establishing habits for the rest of your married life... I\'m sure you don\'t want to be pushed into nag mode..at the sametime it\'s frustrating when nothing gets done. HAve you guys been able to list all householdchores, billsetc and decide who is responsible for what? I would do that as a first step. Next, I would remind him only once .... cos you don\'t want to be forced into mommy mode, and he may be deliberately not handling things in a rebellion type thing of \"I\'m the man I\'ll handle it when I\'m ready\". The only way I know to make it hit home is to really let go, but don\'t step in to rescue when the heat comes either ... somehow step out of the way so he feels the full pressure, and when he asks you why such and such wasn\'t taken care of, you can say you reminded him once, but didn\'t want to baby him and assumed he was taking care of it like agreed.....

lol.. I would seriously do that. take the high road cos you\'re a woman, his wife, not his mommy...he needs to learn to work as a team with you..

Yeah I know what you are talking.I dont want to be called a nagging wife. I\'m following the \"tell once and step out\" policy. And have decided not to get involved in it again. If he breaks it he\'s gotta fix it. I\'m told him this. I guess he\'s gotta learn it the hard way. :-) He\'s really a good person, but his job demands too much of him, and he hardly gets any time to take care of chores or errands. But he\'s gotta do what he\'s gotta do.

it\'s a hard balance for sure! I think most important is guarding your own emotional health so you aren\'t churning up over it! xo
