I\'m Spiraling Down Fast

Hey Gang, I Need HelpĀ I've been having some unusual things going on. Since the financial problems we have my husband decided to look for another higher paying job. Well we are for certian he has found one, BUT he will be working nights. I will be working days, so we will never see each other. I am not a stay at home every night by myself person, never have been!!!! This has seriously stressed me out. AND if that is not enough he will be leaving me alone at home with his compulsive lying, manipulation queen, ADHD, bedwetting, always in trouble at school 14 year old daughter. And this stresses me even more.................. So as a result I made an appointment with my former Doc for refill on my meds. A new Doctor has taken over the practice so it was like I was a new patient. She worked my head over good asked alot of questions and I answered very honestly. SO SHE felt the need in the middle of my appointment to call my husband at work on his cell to tell him it was imparitive for him to get the "Guns out of the House" Oh My God.................. I'm not through yet....... after my appointment I called and told him the situation and got him calmed down and stressed to him I was not suicidal today!!!! So then I turn into my driveway to see a strange teenage girl running from the side of my house into the back and continues into the thick woods. "IM THINKING I JUST CAME UP ON A ROBBERY"... I get out of my car, leave it running, and began to chase what I realized was 2 of them through the woods, across a dirt road and into another set of woods. I was hollering at them the whole way but they would not stop. OKAY.... full panic attack on the way, I get to my car to my just refilled ativan and pop one..... calling my husband and explaining what has just happened. He heads home, I sit outside and realize that it was probably my aggravating stepdaughter. And guess who comes walking up looking full of guilt, YEP it was her and a new found friend. I told the new found friend that she was Not Welcome In My Home ever again, and I had better not catch her there or I would call 911..... she responded with a meek yes mam a couple of times indicating she knew what they did was wrong. My stepdaughter states "we were playing chase"!!!!!!!!! why didn't you stop when I screamed at you, "we didn't hear you we were laughing and running"............. my husband it about to go crazy trying to keep the cool between us. But he knows it is probably a doomed relationship, unless she changes. But we have been down this road with her many times before and it is just the "same ole shit" as a couple of days pass......... NOW CAN YOU SEE WHY I AM SO STRESSED ABOUT STAYING BY MYSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Any advice or support would be a God send..........

Sounds like perhaps your step daughter needs to go to the doctor and not you. Does she take anything for her ADHD? Hopefully she will work through these teen years and your relationship can be promising. Don\'t give up on her that is a rough age. Maybe you can find a new hobby or something to keep you busy while hubby is at work. I know the \"passing in the night thing\" can be straining on a relationship. You\'ll have to enjoy the weekends together. Take care. Love Robin

That is way too much drama. My blood pressure raised just reading about it. You all need to sit down together and calmly, talk about the coming changes and expectations everyone has for eachother. I think the girl has her own set of problems that maybe you can\'t \"fix\" but you can take care of yourself. Your home should be your sanctuary...period. Hard hugs

1. Pray for Step-daughter, she is a way by which the enemy can antagonize you, search for your weaknesses and debilitate you.

2. Husband\'s job will lead to better opportunities, stay patient, step by step.

3. Observe the faith you placed in the medication during the incident, ask yourself did you have at the very least the same if not more faith towards God\'s handling of the situation...

Evaluate your positive support systems, church, social gatherings, & those around you... are they supportive as you are to them?

Hope for a nice, calm, peaceful week ahead for you and the family, Our Lord\'s Love and Peace!
