I'm offically NOT crazy!

So.... I did this 2 hour psy eval. Took the entire 2 hours! However, the guy was sooooo totally cool! We hit it off right away :) For those who asked me to let them know about it, it was pretty straight forward. He asked why I was wanting to have surgery, what I am doing to prep for it head wise, he asked me about my past, we talked about my goals with college and grad school (He said I'd make an awesome grad school student!). He asked about my support at home. And also if I had drug or drink issues.... Yada yada. He told me it was obvious I was a psy student, lol! And that I have done my research and know what I am getting into.... That I will do super at this thing... Then I had to sit at a computer and answer a bunch of questions like "Do you ever plan your own death?" and "Do you hear voices in your head?" I have to say there were some really funny questions! The very best one was "Do you ever receive advertisements in the mail you do not want?" (I s#it you not!)... But I know from my stats class, often questions like this are asked just to see if you are paying attention! THEN... (not done yet!) I had to fill out this pen and paper "test" that was all about my eating... "Do you ever eat when you are not hungry?" (Duh! If I only ate when I was hungry, I would NOT need surgery! LOL!) In the end he told me there would be a review board made up of surgeons, him, the NUT"s etc who made the final decision if I would be a good person for surgery (this I already knew...). So he couldn't say 100% for sure i would be approved, but that he could say 100% that he was supportive of me having the surgery "You have my vote!" is what he said! As silly as it might sound, I enjoyed the 2 hours and felt like I really connected with this guy! When we parted ways, his final words were how much he enjoyed our conversation and that I was a cool way to spend the last 2 hours of his work week... :) I'd go back and see him anytime! :) :) I totally lucked out! For those who still have to do this step, I hope your experience is as good! And even if its only half as good, you will walk away with a smile :) Bring on the next step!! My endoscopy coming up! I am so ready for this thing! :)
