I'm Moving On

Here's a poem I wrote in August of 2009

I'm so sick of this tape
Stuck on repeat in my head
Playing over every memory.
So you know what?
I'm moving on. 
I have the strength now
To do what I never thought possible.
To face the demons
It's not going to be easy
Even with my love by my side
But it's time.
It's way past time. 
I'm going to open myself up to the world 
Let my feelings be known
And clear away this garbage
That has littered my mind for so long.
