I'm in love with a trans.
I've been married for almost a year now. I knew my husband was transgender when we got together. I never knew much about the lgbt community myself. I knew what trans was but I didn't know the side effects and outcomes and stuff like that. Honestly I still don't know much more than I use to. He told me in the beginning that I made him comfortable and that he wouldn't have to transition because I'm straight and he knew our marriage would be happier if he stayed male. Well, recently he told me that he can't closet it any more and he needs to take the steps to become who he really is. I can't blame him. I wouldn't want to live a lie either. But I'm stuck at a cross roads. I love him, well, her so much. I've never felt love like this for anyone in my life. I couldn't ask for a better spouse. But.. I'm not a lesbian. I don't know what to do. It's tearing me apart. I don't want to get a divorce. I want to accept this and be supportive and stay together, but I don't know how to make it work if I'm not even the slightest bit bisexual or lesbian. I am here to see if anyone has been through similar situations and if they would share how they handled it and got through it. I don't want to leave my husband. I want to figure how to cope with this.
