I'm home

3 treatments of plex.  They wanted to do 2 more, but we decided I was doing well and there were no promises that 2 more would keep me any longer from the next treatment.  Yes, for now, I will still need hospitalizations for plex.  I have no access besides mahurkar needed to be inserted and my blood pressure crashes during procedure, even with albumin preload.  So frustrating.  Outpatient plex may never be a possibility for me.
We're weaning off of the prednisone.  Sliding scale 70/30 insulin then.
Friday (Leo didn't find it until Saturday) a message was left on my phone that the provider at Rush that I was waiting to see is no longer there.   10 days before appointment!  I pray all is well with him, but it sure threw me and the staff at the hospital in a loop.  That was their discharge plan.  LOL
Well, lots I'm sure I could share.  I'm feeling good except for the bloody dressing on my neck.  Lots of catch up work and doing IVIG tomorrow, so I better go.
Hugs,

Deb

Darn it on the provider\'s sudden disappearance. Will hope all is ok for them and you find someone else that can help.

Sorry for the BP problems. Hope you are doing ok at home. We just got home too last night after 11 days in hospital with husband.. Will hope you can get a routine that works for you that causes the least side effects.

Hang in there! Hugs and healing thoughts, Marie
