I'M HOME
THIS WAS A CRUISE ON THE CANCUN QUEEN A PADDLE BOAT. IT WAS PART OF OUR VIP PACKAGE AND ADULTS ONLY. WE HAD A BALL. THE HOST WAS A BLAST HE MADE US PLAY THESE SILLY BUT FUN GAMES. IF YOU DID NOT DO THINGS RIGHT YOU GOT A HUGE SHOT OF TEQUILLA STRAIGHT FROM THE BOTTLE. EVERYONE WAS A GOOD SPORT AND SOON INHIBITIONS WERE DROPPED. I HAD MORE THAN MY SHARE OF SHOTS BUT AMAZINGLY STAYED SOBER. I AM NOT A HUGE DRINKER BUT I DO LOVE TEQUILLA. HUBBY ON THE OTHER HAND HATES IT BUT HE WAS A GOOD SPORT AND TOOK HIS MEDICINE LIKE A GOOD BOY..LOL!! THIS WAS ON TOP OF BEER. WE MEET ANOTHER COUPLE ON THIS BOAT RIDE AND WE HAD DINNER WITH THEM AT THE FANCY FRENCH RESTAURANT. WE ALL WISH WE HAD MET AT THE BEGINNING OF THE WEEK BUT IT WAS OUR LAST FULL DAY. WE HAVE A STANDING INVITATION TO THEIR HOME IN BRITISH COLUMBIA. YOU CAN MEET SOME NICE PEOPLE WHILE TRAVELING.
THE HIGHLIGHT OF MY TRIP WAS SWIMMING WITH THE DOLPHINS. AMAZING. SO THERE IS ANOTHER THING CROSSED OF MY "BUCKET LIST" WHAT A MAGNIFICENT CREATURE.
WELL, WE CAME HOME TO THE COLD..DAH!! WELL I'LL JUST HAVE TO SUCK IT UP CAUSE THAT WILL BE THE WEATHER FOR THE NEXT4 OR 5 MONTHS.
YESTERDAY WE STARTED PUTTING UP THE INSIDE DECORATIONS. I PUTA PRETTY GOOD DENT IN IT. I AM STILL DRAGGING MY DERRIER FROM JET LAG. HUBBY HAS BEEN A GREAT HELP. TODAY I HAVE THE TREE TO DO, MY VILLAGE AND A FEW ODDS AND ENDS. I HAVE BEEN BLASTING THE XMAS MUSIC SO I AM IN THE HOLIDAY SPIRIT. NOW I HAVE TO SORT THE XMAS GIFTS AND GET WRAPPING. OH, YEAH, AND BAKING TOO!!

Of course we are jealous but are really happy you had such a great time. Swimming with the dolphins sounds like way more fun than the shots. Tequilla,EEWWW.. I won a bottle when we were there 5 years ago and I still have it. Trivia pursuit, kicked their butts. I\'m decorated and am baking this week. I kind of hold off baking till closer so they won\'t be stale. Gifts are pretty easy because grandboys want money so they can get the lastest technology that I know nothing about. Fine with me...easy. Just my children and Hubby, that makes 4, piece of cake, but I have not done it yet. I do have my ideas so that helps. I have always been a late shopper. I do have eveyones small gifts. Every year everyone gets a book that suits them, I know what everyone likes in books. They get jammies too. Have to have jammies to go with books. I used to make them but well I still haven\'t got that new machine out, shame, shame. Glad you had fun. Naomi xo
Happy to hear you had a great time, but then, I knew you would. You always do! Love hearing about the cruise. Glad you are getting into the holiday mood. I have most of my shopping done, but just have a few things left to get. My birthday is Tuesday, so I am taking the day off to spend it with my daughter and grandchildren. My big 6-0! Where did the years go?! It really is true that the years go faster as we age. I still feel young, though, and I think that is what matters :-)

That trip sounds like so much fun. Tequilla is my favorite \"medicine\" so I\'d have been quite happy when I messed up too ;-)
Boy talk about a change in the weather from Cancun to COLD. How cold is it there now? This has been another strange winter for us so far. Here we are only a couple weeks from Christmas and we\'ve had less then two feet of snow and after the first real snow we warmed up and rained for several days so we didn\'t even get to keep the whole amount. We did that last winter and I got so excited thinking there would be an early spring and then it snowed the entire month of March. I\'m praying we do not get a repeat.
Right after New Years I\'m going to start a major clean up in the green house and then start building earth boxes for my \"garden\" this year. I hope to be starting seeds by the end of Feb.
