i'm falling

hi to all my dear friendsi cannot believe i havent written for so long.  for one, there was so much talk and excitement about the get together holiday some of you were planning, that i almost felt that i wasnt really a PART  of things.  it left me feeling sort of alone. but i realise that what you were doing was a wonderful thing for those moms who can attend, and i am happy for you. living at the other end of the world is far in miles, but in our hearts we are closer to each other than we are to our own neighbours. also, sometimes i withdraw and believe the only way i'll get through this, honestly, is on my own. so i try to be very brave, and it works, and i achieve a lot. but those moments keep creeping back, when i just dont know how to live with this pain. it was jessy's birthday on 25 november, her second birthday not here.  she would have been 14.  i am finding the second year without jessy, deeply painful.  i am aching for her, and i simply cannot believe she is not here. how are you all doing, my special friends? how are you coping? with all my love, jan

coping by - putting one foot in front of the other each & every day - doing the very best I can with each & every day - some are so very much easier than others & not beating myself up when I have a bad day - which is easier said than done. Have a peaceful & gentle holiday season. Hugs, Ann

I am approaching the 3rd anniversary. Personally, I\'ve made it this far, this well, because of the freedom I\'ve been given to journal any and everything I need. But that\'s just my personality.....blab it all out! Many moms feel the need to withdraw from time to time and regroup within themselves. If that\'s what works for you, that\'s exactly what you should do. I\'ll always be here, waiting for your return, to tell you once again how much you\'re loved and appreciated. I thank you for sharing your precious Jessy with us. She is precious to us as well. Love and hugs, Teri.

hello, i am so sorry for your loss and what you are going thru. i tend to understand a little what you may be going thru as to withdrawing. i find i do that also. the waves of grief are incredible. my son would have been 28 on oct 19th and ten days later it has been a year on oct 29th since he was taken from us. my girlfriend said the 2nd year of her daughters death was very hard on her........my thoughts are with you, love, donna

So good to hear from you. I\'ve often heard the second year is more difficult. I can honestly say that for me it wasn\'t. I am going on two and a half now and our third holiday season without our son. Somedays I\'m still mystified at it all but many more good days than bad. Remember on the days you can\'t do it on your own, we are always a \"click\" away. Love to you. Robin
