I'm an Angry Bird

Just realized that I have something in common with that game Angry Birds. There's one bird that gets fat when it touches something.   This bird is great for knocking over structures in tight places because you can aim for a spot, then explode the bird into it's fat form.  The sucker can knock over a building in seconds flat.  So, I'm feeling very much like that whenever I enter the health club. Outside, I'm your average American woman size wise.  But then I touch the health club door and boom!  I'm instantly fatter among a sea of skinny women suited only for Hollywood and the covers of magazines.
They've got mirrors all over the place too.  Every now and then I'll catch a glimpse of myself, and I'll think, Wow, I've lost a few pounds.  Then one of those skinny gals will appear, and boom!  I'm exploding into that fat bird again, and my face seems to fill the mirror, and the little skinny person reminds me of that tiny little blue bird in the game.  You know, the one that is small and delicate, but that can divide into three separate birds.  And most of the time three more of the little skinny gals do appear, making me want to pick up and run, except I long to be one of those delicate blue creatures, so I stay.
Okay, so maybe I won't get to be the blue bird.  Maybe I'll have to settle for the first bird in the game--you know, the little red one.  This bird is slim and powerful and beautiful, and graces the cover of the game.  Yeah!  That's for me.

We are all different. Not every woman on God\'s green earth can be the skinny blue bird. We either accept ourselves the way we are or we change what we can. I am happy the way I am now. I know in my head I could lose 20 pounds. Other than that fact, I am okay with myself. Change what youc an and be happy with the things you accept about yourself. We are all different. Not all women are to be a size zero. The average in North America is size 14. It is just my input from Diane B.
