I lost my first 5 pounds!

I have made it a goal to lose weight and get down to 145lbs. When I started this goal I was an unhealthy 170lbs.Since I have made it a goal to lose weight, I have cut down on alot of things and kept to my promise on a few: (1) No more red meat; my blood type can do without the red meat anyways(2) No eating after 7pm; I usually eat then go to bed right afterwards (3) Exercise; havent been rollerblading as much but still doing those sit-ups faithfully everyday(4) Eat smaller portions; I dont eat to get full anymore. I eat just to fill an empty space that has gotten smaller actually and eating smaller portions is now easy!(5) Cut down on eating out; I spend alot of time cooking and preparing meals(6) Strict chicken and fish diet; havent fallen off yet. Hard at first but determination is your friend on this one.(7) Lots and Lots of water; I drink water with EVERYTHING! I dont even care about anything else anymore. Little juices here and there and only sodas that are clear (sprite, sierra mist etc.)(8) Filling up on veggies; greens have less cholesterol and fats so eat all you want! I was actually on a salad binge cuz there is this chopped bbq chicken salad at this place called California Pizza Kitchen OMG! Dont get me started =)(9) Swimming; not only because its hot as hell in California but I work out my whole body just by swimming and having fun I am updating a goal today. LOSE 25 LBS because I have lost 5 lbs. and I am going for the gold! Michael Phelps watch out =)

You are very determined to accomplished this goal and that is what I like to hear. I will take note in your strategies that you are using and try them out myself. My goal of trying to eat healthy hasn\'t been too successful and I need to workout more, Motivation is the key. Good luck and hope to see you reach your goal completely.
