I'll have pictures to share today or tomorrow

Nicole and I took photos of Grayson this morning. I am excited to see how they turned out and will share them.  He got a bit of a scratch on one cheek from the leaves so I may have to do some editing.  He also ate the chrysanthemums, so we have a great picture of grandma's hand plucking them out of his mouth.  I should probably check toxicity of oak leaves, maple leaves, rotten acorns, and chrysanthemums as nearly all reached his lips.  I told Nicole we needed the pacifier between photos.  She doesn't think mom knows anything.  LOL
We are having some nasty politics at church.  It puts a bit of a damper on things at worship these days.  Pray the Holy Spirit will bring great fruit from this and that it will honor God as some have not exactly demonstrated brotherly love.
Under the prednisone high, I know that I am still breathless with activity, so am a bit worried as I will begin taper down on Tuesday (with my kidney growth and the other kidney with a fatty cyst we have to be careful.) Husband is currently a bit upset as I am cooking for a funeral on Monday and Tuesday.  He thinks in my current condition one day might be too much and two is way over the top.  He might be right, but it is hard for me to explain to my 70-90 y.o. church basement lady conterparts that overdoing my obviously healthy looking 50 y.o. body could possibly land me in the hospital.
Trying to lay low today as tomorrow will be a humdinger.  Not doing new online work this week.  Husband says work on Sunday is bad (new attitude since I am MG,) which only worries me more as then I know he is worrying because usually he tries to squeeze work into every waking minute of every day.
Football and baseball will captivate my afternoon evening.    Oh did I mention I have a board meeting for a non-profit tomorrow night?   I better get that agenda typed up, too.  I so wish I could just slip into my active life without worry.  Reminds me, I will need a driver for the meeting as I will not be able to see to drive home as it will be after dark and double blurry vision driving at night is next to impossible for me these days.

I am kinda worried for you. It definitely sounds like you are doing too much. (And your hubbie - is thinking the same thing.)

The hardest part - of dealing with any disease? Is knowing your personal limits. I already talked this morning, with one of our fellow MG patients, about the very same subject.

Maybe? You are more than capable - of everything that you mentioned. But if you get done with it all? And find yourself in rough shape? Needing extra doses of meds? Or collapsing in complete exhaustion? Well - you\'ll have your own answer.

I could never do, everything that you mentioned you are attempting. I just painted a 5 x 5 piece of the house exterior, standing on the ground? It was all I could handle, and now my symptoms are all raging away.

Every person with MG - is an individual case. Many people, whose symptoms have subsided? Are capable of quite a lot. If that\'s your case? God bless you! But - it sounds like your symptoms - are affecting you now, quite a bit (needing a driver).

The MS Society prints a pamphlet, titled \'\'But you look just fine!\'\' It talks about the need - for MS patients - to be self-limiting, and to be the personal guardian of their level of energy (they call it \'\'energy-management\'\'). We MG patients - could borrow a page from that pamphlet.

I hope I have not offended you. I\'ve already been through - what you are now going through. If you challenge MG - to a duel? Outside a time of remission? MG will smash you flat, every time. Again, I\'m sorry if I offended you. I don\'t take it personally, when I\'m politely told to buzz off!

You are one busy lady! I agree, it is hard to say \"no\". But I have learned. My husband laughingly made me stand in front of the mirror say, \"No, I\'m sorry. I can\'t.\"
I am still involved in a few things but not much while I am trying to get strong.
I am helping with the big hospital auxiliary fund raiser which will have me very busy and on my feet for 4 hours and outside but I should be fine. If not, I will just leave early or move to another job where I can sit.
Looking forward to seeing all of your photos of your grandson.
Hugs,
sherry

Do NOT edit those pictures. It is the scratches that are so endearing and remind you of the fun you had. I promise you! Ok, I will post a couple of pictures of me. The one smiling at the camera is one that I had seen from the time I can remember, I was about three when it was taken. The second I was just given, it tells so much more about the little girl, don\'t remember now how I got the scratches, but I was at my grandparent \'s and there are lots of possibilities to remember, including trees, shrubs, rose bushes and romping in general. b.

When you are doing the cooking and board meeting, be sure that you are have the medication list and Handbook for Healthcare Providers handy and I believe the number in Wisconsin is 911, same as here.

We\'re all concerned, deb, but I apologize for expressing mine so forcefully. You should be able to write about what you want to do in your own journal with out my fussing. Just take care, b.

I do not mind the concern. Truly. I am having a hard time figuring my goals and boundaries. Clearly swimming twice a week and acting like everything was Okay was not a good mood. I will be careful today.
