I know it's not true but..
sometimes with dynamics of social situatioins it feels like i have no safety net..
and yet I know I've got to just keep on keeping on - with work and with taking
care of life. I may feel downtrodden and depressed - but I can take
nourishment, inspiration, gratification from the idea that I am taking care of
what's in front of me.

I realize we all have the insecurity of life and yet it's good to be strong enough to connect
and care - the thought is also helping me see how to care for my relationships
more intently.
The words spoken to me repeatedly when i’ve expressed doubts and lack of confidence in job interviews, social things, work things, meeting new people, life stuff etc is:
Be Yourself
And so I’ve worked in therapy on learning to not only be myself, but my best self, my honest self, my true authentic self - and once a good handle on that is achieved - then I will be able to navigate relationships intelligently…..
There is a sense of freedom in all that.
Heres to a good week ahead Marky!
thanks Nikki!
Your post inspired me to brain farts about "Mirror Therapy." No, silly goose, it's not the girly gig of spending hours in front of the mirror. It's where I actively look for insecurities similar to mine in other people and see what I can do to alleviate **their** insecurities. E.g., When I am feeling downtrodden and depressed, I look for someone, perhaps a co-worker, a familiar barista, neighbor or a family member who looks a bit downtrodden and depressed. I give it my best shot to give **them** nourishment, inspiration, gratification or maybe just an encouraging smile. 'Tis amazing how often the nourishment, inspiration, gratification reflects back to me. I always seem to receive more than I give away. Love never divides. It only multiplies.
Don't ask me how your post inspired that brain fart. Farts is just farty. Ply gas mask, if needed.
Does Blue have a secret life you don't know about? This video looks kinda like him.
