I have been so blue lately.

I could not figure out why I have been so blue lately.  Why can I cry at the drop of a hat or get so angry at the stupidest thing.  I was chatting with a wonderful woman on Daily Strength.  Now I know why.  My mom passed away on May 13, 1989.  It coming up to the 25 year anniversary of my own mom's passing away.  I miss her so much.  I wish she was here right now.  Alas!  She is not.  When the mind forgets, the body does not.  My mom and I did not always see eye to eye but we loved one another deeply and sincerely.  We agreed to disagree.  It was wonderful the last three years of her life.  I wish she was here to see her great grandson and soon to be great granddaughter.  I wish she was here to see me be a grandma.
After everything I have been through since 2008, I sure wish my mom were here for me.  It would have been so ironic to have her live kitty corner to where I currently live.  My life would have been so different it if my mom hadn't passed away.
All the best to everyone and thanks for listening from DianeB

My mom lived over 2 years after my husband\'s death. She had dementia and didn\'t know me, thought I worked at the nursing home where she lived, I sure understand the importance of having them to share our good times and bad. Sharon
