I HATE DSS

This morning went to TANF office, they open at 830. I got there at 8, and stood in a line halfway down the building, I was number 21. After sitting until 1030, I was called and told to come back later, as a walk-in. They only do 6 interviews a day. some of those ahead of me were for food stamps, different line. I raised some cain, and will get to go back at 3pm today and actually see someone. I did inform everyone that their caseworker doesnt return calls, and I have been leaving messages for a month. SHE LIED AND SAID SHE TRIED TO CALL ME. I have a cell phone strapped on, as I am always on call, never any calls from her, or messages either.I wouldn't have to go through this, but gs was getting tanf until his mother moved in, then they took it (159$) from my name, added 55$ to her name. Cancelled it from her name, so no one got anything for gs for August. Sent me a letter saying his medicaid was cancelled, but this morning they said Medicaid is fine... It makes no sense for Tanf to be taken from custodian, and given to mother, when mother doesnt even pay child support. If these bios were responsible enough to provide, I wouldn't have gs custody.
