I guess I shouldn't think this is odd
Me, well you know I tend to spin about things...I saw the pattern when I am
at home alone that I kind of seek out a goal and carry through with wanting to make it pretty,
like art. I don't know why I should feel like this is odd. I notice the pattern of dealing with emotional
upheaval each day - and no judgements from me - it just is what it is... and so I'll take a similar kind
of vantage on how I decide to do things in my day as well... I have a goal - a notion and just the follow through
is what I'll hope to do with it - make it pretty - and job well done.. whichever -
I have a humility about my place in the world..
and rather than projecting that what I do must be something different or better than what it is -I'll just keep aim, humbly and set about the process of doing what I need to do...A lot of the time when alone - I spin mentally something fierce- like lucid dreaming and it weirds me out... either that or I will stuff my face with food or sit 'waiting' in front of the tv. I guess I am coming to a point where I don't really need to do that to myself anymore. I don't need to judge it -
but I can focus mindfuly more on what kind of thing I am aiming to do rather than feel like it's got to be in the realm of righteous or 'just so.' I feel better about things. I did eat a whole pin of rocky road...and then felt so gross I took a shower...
But funny stuff aside, I kind of recognize I can just be me 'no frills' but effective.

Total agreement that you shouldn't think that is odd, Mark.
For what it's worth
Practicing senseless acts of beauty and random acts of kindness is the best therapy tool I've ever found for my questing control freakitis. However much I should myself, me is all I really get to be in this life.
Thanks Arfie:)
